Once owned by a local shipowner, the house stands apart from the longhouses and thatched cottages of the Pays de Caux, with its white façade and blue shutters. It has been fully renovated to keep its character while offering the comfort of a modern home.

On the ground floor, a large open living space brings together the sitting room and its wood stove, the dining room for ten, the bar and the kitchen. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a terrace facing the grounds complete the house.

Butot-Vénesville lies in the Durdent valley, between Fécamp and Dieppe. The nearest beach, Veulettes-sur-Mer, is ten minutes by car, as are Petites Dalles, Lake Caniel and the shops of Cany-Barville. Veules-les-Roses, listed among the most beautiful villages in France, is half an hour away, Fécamp twenty-five minutes, the cliffs of Étretat forty-five.

The house is just over two hours' drive from west Paris, and about an hour from both Le Havre and Dieppe.

End-of-stay cleaning is included and bed linen and towels are provided: all you need to bring is bedding for the travel cots. The kitchen is equipped for twelve, with the basics already in place, and the house is on a fibre line.
