Arrive on Friday and make the most of it
Check-in is from 4pm. From west Paris, allow just over two hours' drive. Bed linen and towels are provided and end-of-stay cleaning is included: there is nothing to bring except your own things.
On Friday evening, ten minutes is all it takes to have dinner facing the sea at Veulettes-sur-Mer. Or stay in, by the wood stove in winter, with the fire pit or the Weber barbecue on the terrace when the weather allows.
Saturday: market, village and beach
On Saturday morning, the big market in Fécamp is held on place Bellet, and the more village-scale market in Doudeville is within easy reach too.
For lunch, Veules-les-Roses is half an hour away: park at the Falaises car park, follow the Veules, the shortest river in France, down to the beach, and Les P'tits Galets serves fifty metres from the sea. In the afternoon, head back to Petites Dalles or Veulettes, ten minutes from the house.
Sunday: leave without rushing
Check-out is before 10am. To keep a proper Sunday, nothing stops you booking a third night: two nights is the minimum, not the maximum. And since cleaning is included, you simply put the dishes away and sort the rubbish before you go.

Can the house be rented for a weekend all year round?
Outside high season, yes, from two nights. In high season the house is let by the week, with a seven-night minimum. Idylliq will tell you which periods apply when you book. Spring and autumn suit a weekend particularly well, with the coast almost to yourself.
Do I need to bring bed linen and towels?
No, they are provided. Just bring bedding for the travel cots if you are coming with a little one. End-of-stay cleaning is included too.
Is a weekend for eleven comfortable?
Yes, the house is designed for it. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a table for ten extended by the bar, a sitting room for seven or eight around the stove and a kitchen equipped for twelve. The hectare of grounds gives everyone room to breathe.
