Start with the eldest. Only one bedroom is downstairs, the Master Bedroom, and it should be theirs: it has the extra-large bed, the window looking onto the grounds and a shower room with twin basins right behind the door. A family reunion revolves around a meal, often the Saturday one. The table seats 10, and the bar that extends it takes the rest: seat the teenagers there, or lay out the drinks and nibbles. The high chair slides in at the end of the table so the youngest makes it into the photo.

In the kitchen, the induction hob, the oven and the dishwasher let you feed everyone without taking turns at the sink, and there is crockery for twelve.
